Oncology Manager Location: Guildford Job Type: Permanent | Full-Time (37.5 hours per week, Mon–Fri) Salary: £64,500 per annum + excellent benefits My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Oncology Manager to lead the Oncology Day Unit at their modern hospital facility in Guildford. This is a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished oncology professional to take on a key leadership role and drive excellence in patient care and service delivery. Key Responsibilities • Manage and oversee the Oncology Day Unit (18-chair chemotherapy suite) and all oncology services within the hospital., • Provide strong clinical leadership, motivation, and supervision to nursing and multidisciplinary teams., • Ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care for oncology patients from diagnosis to end-of-life care., • Support service development, quality improvement, and compliance with regulatory standards., • Work collaboratively with senior management, consultants, and other healthcare professionals to uphold high clinical standards., • Contribute to audits, clinical governance, and infection prevention initiatives. Requirements • Registered Nurse with current NMC registration., • Minimum of 4 years’ senior oncology experience., • Postgraduate qualification in Oncology., • SACT Passport essential., • Proven leadership and people management experience., • Excellent communication and organisational skills., • A teaching or assessing qualification would be an advantage. Working Hours • Full-time, Monday to Friday (clinic open 8:00am – 5:30pm)., • Flexibility available – option to work condensed hours across 4 days., • On-call shared with senior team members (approximately once per month).
