Nurse Qualified Home Manager (RGN / RMN) Large Nursing Home – North West England Salary: £65,000 per annum An established care provider is recruiting for an experienced, nurse-qualified Home Manager to lead a large nursing home in the North West. This is a senior leadership role within a complex, multi-service environment and would suit a confident, people-focused manager with strong clinical governance experience. The Service • Large nursing home (up to 77 beds, currently operating below maximum capacity), • Mixed service provision including:, • Dementia nursing care, • General nursing care, • Residential dementia care, • Additional unit currently closed and being repurposed, with future plans for complex care (potentially complex mental health or complex clinical care such as tracheostomy/ventilation) The home is located on a shared site with another specialist service; however, this role has sole responsibility for the nursing home only. The Opportunity The service has a long-standing and committed leadership team, including: • An experienced Deputy Manager (nurse stepping down from Home Manager role), • A full-time, supernumerary Clinical Manager with excellent knowledge of the service, • Strong organisational support Due to the size and complexity of the service, the provider is now seeking a dedicated Home Manager to ensure sustainable leadership and continued improvement. Key Challenges & Focus Areas • Improving occupancy consistency in a service that currently experiences high admission turnover, • Strengthening clinical oversight, particularly around:, • Pressure area care and repositioning protocols, • RPI processes, • Management of unexplained injuries and incident reporting, • Providing clear, supportive, and structured management to a loyal but historically under-managed staff team, • Embedding accountability while maintaining a positive and caring culture The Ideal Candidate • Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN), • Confident managing large teams and complex clinical risk, • Calm, supportive, and decisive leadership style, • Strong understanding of CQC standards and governance Package • Salary: £65,000 per annum, • Stable, supportive senior management structure, • Opportunity to lead a large, well-established service with future development potential Please apply directly or send your CV to Will Mellor on to be considered.
