Sous Chef - St Marys Stadium - Southampton Up to £35,000 depending on experience An rare opportunity has arisen for a talented Sous Chef to join the brand new Level 1 Restaurant at St Marys Stadium home of Southampton FC. The Role As Sous Chef, youll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver an exceptional food offering in a fast-paced, 7-day operation. Youll take a hands on role in leading the kitchen, supporting with menu development, ensuring smooth service, and maintaining the highest culinary standards. Key Responsibilities Supporting the Head Chef in the day to day running of all kitchen operations. Leading, motivating, and developing the kitchen team, especially in the Head Chefs absence. Overseeing prep, service, and kitchen workflow to ensure consistent quality and efficiency. Managing ordering, stock control, and waste to maintain cost and GP targets. Ensuring full compliance with food safety, hygiene regulations, and H&S policies. About You Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous ready to step up. Confident leading a team, with excellent communication and organisational skills. Able to thrive under pressure within a busy, fast-paced environment. Passionate about fresh, seasonal ingredients and delivering exceptional dining experiences. Positive, driven, and eager to contribute creative ideas to a brand-new venue.
