Job Description Belvoir Pet Hospital is GROWING and seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for outgoing technicians who thrive on building meaningful connections with clients and their pets. At our hospital, technicians are valued for their expertise and education, playing a key role in delivering a positive, comprehensive client experience. In this role, you will: * Provide exceptional patient and client care by ensuring an efficient exam room workflow. * Maintain accurate, detailed medical records. * Review treatment plans and discharge instructions with clients, answering questions with empathy and clarity. * Support the veterinarian’s orders during outpatient care and procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care. This position is ideal for technicians who excel in client engagement and schedule management while delivering exceptional care and communication. This is a full-time position, with availability needed Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturdays. Full-time benefits and compensation**: • Compensation: $21-26 per hour, for each hour worked*, • Bonus package: $2,000, • CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure, • Health package: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, • Life insurance and disability, • Employee Assistance Program, • 401k options, • Paid time off in accordance with site policy and applicable law, • Personal pet discount Minimum qualifications and skill set: • 3+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting, • Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Ohio, • Proficiency in the following skills:, • Phlebotomy, • Injections and vaccinations, • Inpatient care, • Radiology positioning and technique, • Client communication and education Belvoir Pet Hospital is a busy, multi-doctor practice offering the highest quality of medicine small animals in our community.
