Job Description Mechanical Assembler Job Description Join our team as an Assembler, where you will be involved in the manufacturing and assembly of industrial power systems. You will be responsible for wiring the power systems and assembling electrical components. Your expertise in reading schematics and engineering drawings will be crucial as you utilize hand and power tools such as power drills, wire crimpers, wire strippers, screwdrivers, hammers, and tape measures. Responsibilities • Assemble and manufacture industrial power systems., • Wire power systems and electrical components., • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, process sheets, and schematic drawings., • Utilize hand and power tools effectively., • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools., • Ability to read a tape measure accurately., • Experience in wiring electrical components., • Capability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and schematic drawings. This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with the potential for a pay raise, profit sharing, and comprehensive benefits, including PTO, paid holidays, and a 401k when converted to a permanent role. Profit sharing bonuses are paid quarterly, enhancing your earnings. Work Environment You will work in a large, open bay production facility with multiple work stations. The production floor is not climate-controlled, but industrial-sized ceiling fans are present to keep the air circulating. Safety shoes, glasses, and ear plugs may be required. The shift is from 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday to Friday, and 6:00am-12:30pm on Saturdays, with Saturday work being mandatory. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
