Job DescriptionDescription: Hybrid 3 days onsite, 2 days remote in Pittsburgh, PA Our client is scaling enterprise generative AI and agent-based solutions across business functions. The team operates across data, application, and AI layers, emphasizing secure architecture, reusability, and responsible AI governance in line with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Salary: $150,000 - $175,000/ yr. w2 Responsibilities: • Advance AI strategy by identifying high-value opportunities, shaping roadmaps, and prioritizing enterprise use cases., • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to assess processes and design AI-powered solutions that improve efficiency and transformation., • Lead end-to-end delivery of custom AI solutions using modern MLOps, context management, and CI/CD practices., • Build and orchestrate AI agents and workflows using Copilot AI, Snowflake AI, GitHub AI, and AWS Bedrock., • Design reusable frameworks, prompt templates, and reference architectures to accelerate delivery across teams., • Collaborate with cloud, data, and security teams to ensure secure, scalable, and extensible solutions., • Support model evaluation and certification, including red-teaming, bias and fairness testing, accuracy benchmarking, hallucination detection, content safety filtering, and production readiness., • Establish and enforce responsible AI governance aligned to the NIST AI Risk Management Framework., • Monitor emerging agentic technologies and evaluate alternative models and approaches., • Assess third-party AI capabilities for fit with organizational risk appetite., • Senior role requires 7+ years in software engineering, data science, or related technical roles., • Staff role requires 10+ years in software engineering, data science, or related technical roles., • Hands-on experience building and deploying generative AI solutions in enterprise environments., • Strong coding proficiency with a track record of production-grade systems delivery., • Experience engaging business partners to gather requirements and shape solutions., • Full-stack understanding across data, application, and AI layers., • Proficiency in backend development using Python, Java, Node.js, Shell, or Linux., • Experience with APIs, knowledge graphs, vector databases, and modern data structures., • Demonstrated knowledge of MLOps, model lifecycle management, and CI/CD., • Experience with modern AI frameworks such as RAG and platforms including AWS Bedrock, Copilot Studio or Copilot Foundry, GitHub Agent or GitHub AI, and Snowflake AI or Snowflake Agents., • Ability to design reusable frameworks, prompt templates, and reference architectures., • Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills., • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and meet commitments., • Knowledge of banking applications (preferred)., • Bachelor’s degree in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
