Job Description Job Title: Tax Accountant Location: Broken Arrow, OK Hours: M-F 8a-5p, some Saturdays, NO Sundays Pay: $65K (DIRECT HIRE) + Commission on returns gross processed. Job Summary: A Tax Accountant is responsible for preparing, analyzing, and filing tax documents for individuals, businesses, and organizations. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws while identifying opportunities for tax savings and financial optimization. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns (individual and corporate)., • Analyze financial statements and ensure accurate tax reporting., • Maintain and update the company’s tax database., • Identify legal tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profitability., • Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws., • Research and resolve complex tax issues and errors., • Coordinate and support tax audits., • Advise management on tax implications of business decisions., • Stay current with changes in tax laws and industry trends., • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field., • CPA certification preferred., • Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax accounting or a similar role., • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office., • Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles., • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills., • Experience with tax software (e.g., QuickBooks, Drake, Canopy)., • Knowledge of corporate, individual, and partnership tax regulations., • Ability to interpret and apply complex tax laws., • Strong problem-solving and client advisory skills. #MED TRINITY EMPLOYMENT SPECIALISTS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER See the great things people are saying by checking out our Google reviews, along with our Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter.
