What youll do as a Senior Security Engineer • Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments on internal systems, customers, vendors, and applications, and recommend effective mitigation strategies, • Deliver billable security services, which involves client-facing project work, • Monitor, investigate, and respond to alerts using cybersecurity tools such as SIEM, next-gen antivirus, email security tools etc., • Participate in incident response effortscontain threats, assess impact, document findings, and support follow-up, • Create reports and briefings for leadership with clear security recommendations, • Engage in IT audits, penetration tests, risk assessments, and compliance checks, • Manage vulnerability scanning tools, interpret results, and assist in remediation, • Conduct vulnerability and penetration testing of all systems to identify potential system vulnerabilities, • Manage and respond to Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) requests and assessments, • Penetration Testing, Internal, and External for our company and customers, • Cyber forensics and post-incident response, • Perform threat modeling, architecture reviews, and ensure critical vulnerabilities are identified, communicated to team members, and drive the delivery of mitigations, • Manage security policy and control lifecycle across publication, enforcement, update, and audit What you need to succeed • Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, or completion of an accredited cybersecurity training program, • 5+ years of experience in Information Security or IT Security Operations, • 3+ years of experience in some combination of cloud security, infrastructure security, penetration testing,firewall management, network security, security tools, and architecture review, • Strong foundation in cybersecurity principles, incident response, and network security, • Knowledge of OWASP, ITIL, SANS Top 20 Critical Security Controls, and NIST Framework and Vulnerability Database (CVE & CCE), • Knowledge of national and international regulatory compliances and frameworks such as ISO, SOX, BASEL II, EU DPD, HIPAA, and PCI DSS, • Experience with various Identity Management capabilities, • Understanding of the following tools: SIEM, Virtual Machines, Microsoft Products, Next Gen AV, MDR/EDR, Vulnerability Scanners, Application Whitelisting/Blacklisting, MDM, Ticketing Systems, Data Security and Posture Management (DPSM), API Security, • PowerShell, Python, or Perl development and automation capabilities Preferred Certifications • CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional), • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), • OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), • GXPN (Exploit Researcher and Advanced Penetration Tester), • CompTIA PenTest+
