Job Description Matheny Motor Truck Company is seeking skilled and experienced Mobile Truck Technician to join our Fire and Emergency Team. The successful candidate will be very detailed oriented, a true technician skilled electrician and mechanic. This person should be versed in PM’s, brakes, steering, suspension, pumps, valves, preferably foam systems and both 12 VDC and 120/240 VAC generators. Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair fire pump issues Diagnose and repair aerial ladder issues Assemble Under dash harnesses, switch panels, circuit boards, and a variety of different electrical components Programming lights from customers specs Troubleshoot 12V DC and 120V AC circuitry Test products to ensure performance to customers specifications Reading specs to make sure the trucks are built per spec Perform functionality checks on airhorns, sirens, light packages, flash patterns, door locks Etc.
