Job Description The Project Management Assistant is responsible for assisting the industrial division with various tasks related to project bids and project management. The Project Management Assistant reports directly to the Lead Project Manager. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Execute New Job Set-Up in SharePoint Online & Contract/Budget Management platforms, • Participating in Job Startup Meetings, • Maintain Day Zero Tracker for all assigned projects, • Attending Project meetings and preparation of Meeting Minutes for project record, • Writing & managing subcontracts to Subcontractors, • Process approved proposed Change Orders, • Prepare & Manage Submittal Process with the direction of Project Manager, • Compile and Submit O&M Manuals at the start of assigned Projects, • Manage online Construction Software (e.g. ProCore, AutoDesk, etc.) and bid requests to obtain project documents and submit responses to bid requests., • Download, print, and manage project plans, specifications, schedules, etc., • Check for addenda, clarifications, project updates, etc., • Manage, access and set up permissions as needed, • Input job drawings into SharePoint, • Assist Project Managers and Field Employees with access to project, • Assist Project Team with ordering & tracking process of equipment and materials, • Assist Project Managers and Account Managers with project fulfillment tasks, including but not limited to coordination with the Service Division and Subcontractors, • Coordinate Permitting process with Project Managers, • Establishing rapport & maintaining relationships with equipment/material vendors and subcontractors on assigned projects, • Preparation/submission and coordinating approval of assigned projects Close-Out Packages with General Contractor/Owner Client, • Other duties as assigned by management SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS: • Strong PC Skills, specifically in Windows and Microsoft Applications, e.g. SharePoint Online, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel., • Knowledge of SharePoint Online, Excel and Word are essential., • Communication skills – ability to develop strong working relationships with General Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers/Vendors, Project Management Staff, and Field employees, • Exceptional written and verbal skills, • Project-Oriented – a self-starter who can transition between tasks based on priority and work independently on multiple projects, • Organization & Time Management Skills are crucial, as multiple projects will be assigned concurrently., • Strong Attention to Detail & Accuracy with Numbers, • Basic Accounting Skills, • Construction Industry experience a strong plus, • Ability to understand/analyze project plans & specifications a strong plusCompany DescriptionSun Mechanical Contracting is actively seeking a delivery driver for its Tucson based operations. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience operating all types of construction equipment and be capable of working with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate is willing to follow directions and closely adhere to construction industry safety standards. The position is primarily located outdoors, and the selected candidates will be expected to work under all types of weather conditions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Deliver materials and equipment to and from job sites, • Operate all company vehicles in accordance with local laws/regulations in a safe and courteous manner, • Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle at the end of the shift and report any problems or damage to management, • Keep assigned vehicles clean and orderly, • Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules, • Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately OPERATING EQUIPMENT: • Operates fork trucks under general supervision, • Inspect equipment for safety issues daily, • Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects within the directed location at construction sites and industrial facilities SAFETY: • Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, • Attend weekly safety meetings QUALIFICATIONS: • Work schedule will require open availability including weekends, holidays, and overnights determined by the needs of the business; must be flexible, • Must be able to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment, post-offer background check and drug test EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: • High school diploma/GED preferred, • Current driver’s license required with no current restrictions • Commercial driver's license CDL Class A/BSun Mechanical Contracting is actively seeking a delivery driver for its Tucson based operations.
