This dual-role position plays a critical part in ensuring projects start on time and stay on track, from schedule creation and resource tracking to obtaining all necessary permits and regulatory approvals. Key Responsibilities Project Scheduling: · Develop, maintain, and update project schedules with customers. · Track company resources and personnel to maintain schedule accuracy. · Coordinate with customers, QC Coordinators, inspectors, and field teams to align timelines, milestones, and deliverables. · Identify scheduling conflicts and risks and recommend mitigation strategies. · Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to customers and management. · Make outbound calls to customers to set appointments. Permit Coordination: · Prepare, submit, and track permit applications with local agencies including traffic control plans. Notify agencies of project start dates. · Coordinate with internal departments and external authorities to ensure timely approval of permits. · Maintain accurate documentation and records for all permit-related activities. · Input status of permit activity, update all data as the project progresses. · Stay up to date with permit requirements, regulations, and compliance standards. Qualifications · Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Must have verifiable experience. · 3+ years of experience in project scheduling, permitting, or administrative coordination. · Excellent organizational and communication skills. · Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities with 100% accuracy. · Ability to multi task and manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment. · Detailed oriented with a proactive mindset. Job Description The Remediation Technician is responsible for performing water damage mitigation, mold remediation, fire/smoke restoration, and related demolition work in residential and commercial environments. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistent and clear documentation, and professional communication with team members and clients. The Technician ensures all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to industry standards. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct water leak investigations to determine the source and extent of damage., • Communicate with the Project Manager and client to understand the history of the issue and establish the work scope., • Set up drying, dehumidification, and air filtration equipment in accordance with IICRC industry standards., • Accurately document all phases of the job, including written notes and thorough photo documentation, from start to completion., • Submit work orders, reports, and photo documentation in a timely and organized manner., • Protect jobsite contents by covering, moving, and setting containment barriers as needed., • Document the placement and removal of drying equipment, including daily moisture readings., • Use moisture meters and/or infrared (IR) cameras to identify affected building materials., • Create clear and accurate observation reports summarizing findings and conditions., • Perform demolition and removal of damaged building materials such as plumbing components, framing, drywall, flooring, and other structural elements., • Provide restoration services for structures damaged by water, mold, fire, smoke, and weather-related events., • Execute water extraction, structural drying, carpet and flooring drying/cleaning, mold remediation, deodorization, sanitization, and debris removal., • Communicate consistently with office staff and the Project Manager to ensure accurate scheduling, job progress updates, and timely completion of tasks.
