Responsibilities: • Own the architecture for an assigned Evergreen delivery domain, producing high-level and detailed designs for committed business-function deliveries and ensuring alignment with North Star Architecture and Evergreen standards., • Partner daily with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and the RTE to prepare the execution team with shovel-ready work, solve cross-track technical dependencies, remove impediments, and hit program milestones., • Collaborate with software engineering teams to guide detailed implementation decisions and ensure adherence to the Evergreen technical standards., • Raise the bar for engineering excellence, build an open, continuous learning, and continuous improvement engineering culture, • Define and validate non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, availability, security, privacy, and observability) and translate them into design acceptance criteria and testable architecture constraints., • Mentor and coach developers and junior architects; lead design and code reviews, enforce quality gates, and raise the technical bar across the team., • Collaborate across delivery tracks, product owners, scrum masters, solution engineers, and enterprise teams to surface dependencies, mitigate risks, align roadmaps, and facilitate stakeholder decisions., • Serve as a thought leader to guide program’s GenAI adoption and operations by defining architecture patterns, establishing data and model governance, implementing safety and bias mitigation, and overseeing inference integration., • Drive operational readiness and cost optimization by defining deployment pipelines, monitoring and alerting, runbooks, capacity planning, and incident response expectations., • Maintain architecture governance and documentation: architecture artifacts, reusable patterns, standards, procurement/vendor evaluations, and compliance/security review coordination. Qualifications • Advanced knowledge of software engineering and architectural principles, with a bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of related experience., • Comprehensive knowledge of technical architecture methodologies and emerging architectural concepts and principles., • Proficient in software engineering languages, tools, and emerging technologies, with preference for experience across legacy, current, and new technologies., • Strong hands-on design and development experience with Evergreen tech stack:, • Java · Spring Boot · Typescript · AWS (EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway) · Apigee · Docker · Guidewire Cloud Platform (SaaS version) · Event Streaming · CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, TeamCity) · Datadog/Splunk for observability, • Proven success designing and delivering large-scale, cloud-native, API-first systems on AWS, leveraging modern DevSecOps, IaC, CI/CD, containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes/EKS), and end-to-end observability and security practices., • Experience with data migration strategies and a strong understanding of layered solution designs and security concepts., • In-depth understanding of business operations, objectives, global technology trends, and the financial services industry., • Strong communication, negotiation, facilitation, and consensus-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels., • An ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and present complex ideas clearly both verbally and in writing.
