Job DescriptionJob description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing behavioral therapy and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities: • Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), • Provide direct one-on-one therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, • Collect data and track progress on behavioral goals, • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans, • Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure consistent and effective care, • Support individuals in daily living activities (ADLs) as needed, • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of sessions and progress Experience: • Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred, • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies, • Familiarity with medical terminology and medical documentation, • Experience in special education or related field is a plus, • Understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques is highly desirable, • Ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred, • Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is strongly preferred, • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines Benefits: • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications, • Comprehensive training program provided, • Opportunities for career advancement within the organization, • Supportive work environment that values teamwork and professional growth If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, we encourage you to apply.
