Maintaining Association owned amenities and properties has a direct effect on the aesthetics of the Community, property values, and quality of life in Green Run. Job Description Primary Role The Virtual Design and Construction Manager is a fluid fast-paced position that overseas the planning and coordination of variety of projects. The projects are taken from the design phase and digitally modeled to solve coordination issues before the start of field installation. The VDC manager researches and leads the VDC team in this effort. The VDC manager also maintains correspondence with the field to assist with any issues that arise during install. The VDC manager is also required to provide load calculations as well as engineering design required for the construction as well as the service department to assist with design build projects. Engineering consultation may be required as a part of the contract. The VDC manager is also tasked with maintaining and refining the VDC department’s standards and all templates for drawing production. They will also be required to participate in furthering education to ensure the department maintains the standard across the industry with the most up to date practices and software implementation. Purpose of the Job The Staff Accountant shall perform accounting and contract administrative duties for the construction department for all projects in development and under construction. II. Primary Duties and Responsibilities The Staff Accountant shall work with a Senior Staff accountant as a team and report to the Construction Controller and shall be responsible for the specific duties listed below: • Contract and Change order duties to include but not limited to:, • Generate Contractual Agreements requested by the Project Management team, utilizing Red Team and the issuance through DocuSign., • Enter executed contracts and change orders in Sage to ensure an up to date budget in job cost, • Maintain contract and change order logs, utilizing the format provided., • Accounts Payable duties to include but not limited to:, • Software data entry in Timberscan for Project Manager approvals., • An occasional direct Sage entry may be required with invoice being attached through Timberscan., • Processing paperless payments up to the point of release approval in Avid Pay, • Writing checks and collecting signatures, when necessary, • Researching payments and invoices to resolve payment discrepancies, • Preparing Journal Entries and entering them into Sage 300, when necessary, • Complete bond requests for information, • Bank Reconciliations for projects that the accountant is not working on., • On a rotating basis, acquire invoices into Timberscan, opening and distributing mail, printing reports and compiling for monthly financial meetings., • Compile and send year-end financial reports and schedules to the CPA for tax preparation., • Ensuring all information required for various projects audits is available upon request.
