The Technology, AdOps & Activation Group, under Infinite Roar's DTAI (Data, Technology, Analytics, Audience and Insights) practice, is a leader in the media and advertising industry, delivering innovative solutions that drive engagement, optimize performance, and leverage cutting-edge technology. This diverse team of data and marketing technology specialists have deep expertise in the ever-changing universe of ad tech, data management, data-driven marketing, and enables a data-first strategy throughout our vast ecosystem of tools and capabilities, enabling automation and scale across our integrated media approach. The Vice President, Data Technology and Ad Innovation empowers Infinite Roar's teams through a relentless focus on data, transparency, and technology enablement. This diverse group of specialists drives best-in-class strategy, innovation, and activation across the agency's portfolio by advancing the use of ad tech, data management, and automation. The VP will set the strategic vision for how data and technology power media excellence. Building scalable, data-first solutions that enhance performance, integration, and operational efficiency across all channels. Partnering closely with Strategy, Activation, and Analytics, this leader will champion innovation, develop future-forward capabilities, and ensure a seamless, connected ecosystem that accelerates client growth. This is a hybrid role out of Chicago requiring 3 days a week in office. Strategic Leadership & Technology Innovation: • Define and implement technology roadmaps that enhance operational efficiency, media performance, and data-driven decision-making., • Lead high-level strategic conversations with clients and internal teams on ad technology, data governance, and campaign activation., • Provide thought leadership by challenging current way of operating to deliver best in class approaches related to the usage and integration of emerging technologies, leading to improvement in campaign effectiveness and scalability., • Ensure the agency stays ahead of industry trends, identifying opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage., • Identify, hire, lead and mentor a team of Directors, Associate Directors, Managers and traffickers, ensuring career growth and skill development., • Be the in-house expert on ad operations, media trafficking and activation, driving tangible ROI for clients, including communicating horizontally and vertically across stakeholders., • Establish and standardize best practices for ad operations, QA, and media technology implementation across agency portfolio., • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership teams (analytics, creative, search, investment) to optimize processes and technology adoption., • Support DTAI Practice Leads to influence team culture, shape communication, engagement, and innovation and establish ongoing education around AdOps best practices., • Act as a key advisor to identified clients, providing strategic guidance on ad technology and data-driven marketing solutions., • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology partners, vendors, and media platforms., • Lead high-profile client engagements, ensuring seamless execution of campaigns and technology integrations., • Oversee procurement relationships and negotiate contracts with technology partners., • Identify and develop opportunities for account growth and expanded technology solutions by selling in additional TAAG services within a client scope., • Partner across the DTAI teams to maintain a robust data infrastructure for seamless organization and analysis of customer data across all platforms and channels, including ensuring all marketing technology and data activities adhere to privacy and security regulations and industry best practices., • Identify organic growth opportunities and craft meaningful proposals for clients to maximize their data strategy as it relates to the tech stack, martech, and tracking/trafficking capabilities. Compensation Range: $146,490 - $210,420 Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
