Job Description Summary The role of the Salesforce Developer is to design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions that support business growth across Sales, Service, Experience, and Marketing Clouds. This role partners closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into high-quality Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, and declarative configurations that enhance user experience and system performance. The Salesforce Developer ensures platform reliability and security through strong testing practices, automation, and CI/CD-driven deployments. Success in this role requires deep Salesforce expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to deliver solutions in an Agile environment. Responsibilities • Design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales, Service, Experience, and Marketing Clouds (Marketing Cloud experience preferred), • Develop and maintain custom Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and asynchronous processes (Future, Queueable) following best practices, • Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWCs) using JavaScript and Apex to improve UI/UX and business functionality, • Configure and automate Salesforce using custom objects, fields, validation rules, record types, workflows, Flows, and page layouts, • Create and execute unit and integration tests; develop and maintain reports and dashboards (tabular, summary, joined, matrix), • Manage Salesforce data updates and migrations using Data Loader, Workbench, and Data Import Wizard, • Implement and manage Salesforce security and access controls, including Profiles, Permission Sets, Role Hierarchy, OWD, and sharing, • Collaborate in Agile teams to translate business requirements into effective Apex, JavaScript, and LWC solutions, • Support code promotion and deployments using Change Sets, ANT, and CI/CD tools such as Gearset, Git, and Jenkins Requirements • Salesforce Certifications required: Admin and Platform Developer; Advanced Admin and additional Salesforce certifications are a strong plus, • 8+ years of Salesforce experience developing and managing applications on the Force.com IDE, • Strong understanding of Visualforce, Lightning Component Framework, Flow Process Builder, Apex controllers, triggers, APIs, governor limits, web services, and batch jobs, • Extensive hands-on Salesforce development experience with a strong focus on Apex (classes, triggers, test classes, scheduled batch jobs, and asynchronous processing including Future and Queueable methods), • Proficient in building complex Salesforce Flows and leveraging automation and declarative tools to deliver scalable solutions, • Strong hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWCs), including JavaScript-based UI/UX enhancements, Apex handlers, and JavaScript development, • Advanced Salesforce configuration expertise, including custom objects, fields, validation rules, record types, page layouts, and territory management, • Solid backlog experience delivering Apex- and LWC-heavy projects, translating technical overviews into actionable Apex and JavaScript solutions, • Experience with deployment tools such as Gearset, along with version control and CI/CD best practices, • Proven ability to deliver Sites, Portals, and Communities using Salesforce Experience Cloud and Salesforce CMS (formerly Community Cloud), • In-depth knowledge of minimum Sales, Service, and Experience Clouds; Marketing Cloud and other cloud experience is a strong plus, • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical stakeholders Location Requirements This role is a remote role. The compensation range for this position represents our good faith estimate of the range we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, skills, education, work location, and internal equity.
