Responsibilities • Operate a commercial motor vehicle with all Federal, State and local traffic laws and regulations. CDL licenses NOT required, • Stock inventory on mobile store in accordance with upcoming customer appointments, • Communicate with Sales Manager and Account Contacts before, during and after scheduled customer visits, • Personally, greet customers upon arrival; assist the customer to select an appropriate shoe from customer selection., • Conclude sale by processing sales receipt and collecting payment if needed, • Assist customers with exchanges and/or returns, • Selling and customer service represents 75% of this role, • Must be customer service focused, • Must be able to drive a 26-foot box truck, • Overnight travel required depending upon your location, on average 2-3 nights per week, motel and meals paid, • Must have a valid, current driver's license; CDL license is NOT required but MUST be able to pass a DOT physical/drug screen, • A background check will be performed for driver's record and personal record Over 50% of our executive and outside sales team started as a mobile store manager. Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic, customer focused driver who can operate a box truck (26 feet) across the Stow, OH area. You will be collecting sharps and medical waste containers from our healthcare customer locations and delivering a high level of customer service daily. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, stable hours, access to some OT and good benefits. Our vehicle fleet is modern and well-maintained. Job Description Job Description CDL Class "B" Truck Driver FLSA: Hourly/Non – Exempt Purpose of position: Under general supervision, operate company trucks to deliver our products to customers Duties and Responsibilities: The following duties are typical of those performed by employees in this job title; however, employees may perform other related duties, and not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each employee in the job title: • Operate company trucks on public roads to transport, load and unload material to EMS customers, • Operate vehicle in compliance with all local, state, federal and company rules and in accordance with generally accepted practices of safe driving, • Complete a driver's logbook and vehicle inspection report according to DOT regulations, • Inspect vehicle and required equipment to determine safe operating conditions prior to departure, • Review shipping papers for nature of load and special handling requirements if any, • Check load to determine if it's properly secured and safe, • Backup truck to loading platform; turn narrow corners; negotiate narrow passageways; keep truck under control particularly on wet or icy highways, • Wear safety equipment when handling material, • Safely load and unload cargo as required, • Maintain the truck in a clean and safe manner on trailer, • Keep tarp clean, neat, folded, and secured, • Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs Qualifications: • Class "B" CDL driver's license, • Preferably 3 years of experience, • No more than one major traffic violation within the past 5 years, • Lift and carry heavy material at least 75 lbs.; climb on and off a flatbed trailer, • Perform basic math At EMS, we believe in taking care of our team.
