Job Description Laurel Pet Hospital is seeking a dedicated Training Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT)! Are you an experienced RVT who loves teaching others and helping them grow? We’re looking for a passionate and patient Training RVT to support the development of our veterinary team through hands-on instruction, coaching, and mentorship. This is a great opportunity for a technician who enjoys sharing knowledge, supporting skill growth, and building confidence in others — all while continuing to provide exceptional medical care. What You’ll Do: * Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to new and developing team members. * Support technicians and assistants in learning technical skills such as anesthesia monitoring, dental procedures, lab work, and patient care. * Collaborate with leadership to create and implement training plans that promote consistency, safety, and high medical standards. * Lead by example with excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills. * Help maintain a positive, supportive, and educational hospital culture. We’re looking for someone who: * Is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in good standing. * Has strong clinical experience and enjoys teaching, mentoring, and empowering others. * Thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. * Is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about continuous learning. This position is ideal for an RVT who finds fulfillment in helping others succeed and wants to make a lasting impact on both team development and patient care. This is a flexible, full-time position, with a 5/8 or 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Sunday.
