Sparks and Blossom House center location in Denver. Responsibilities of an Infant / Toddler Teacher include: • Co-lead a classroom of eight infant or toddlers, • Work closely as a teaching team to individualize the curriculum to meet the children’s needs, • Support children’s social and emotional needs, • Complete developmental assessments and screenings, • Complete home visits (twice per year) and parent teacher conferences, • Work as a teaching team to complete parent/teacher conference and home visits, • Encourage and support parent involvement in the classroom, • Create a safe and healthy learning environment, • Supervise the safety of the children in care Mile High Early Learning Offers the following benefits after start of employment: • Signing bonus (see above), • 5+ weeks of paid time off, • Employee discount for childcare, • Health insurance (as low as $138/mth), • Dental insurance (at no cost for employee only coverage), • Short term, Long term, and Life Insurance (no cost), • Retirement Plan with employer match, • Financial support for education related college coursework or degree attainment, • Employee assistance program with robust mental health supportRequirements:, • AA or BA in ECE or Child Development OR, • BA/MA in an unrelated field with a current Teaching License with an endorsement in ElEd, ECE or SpEd., • CDA I/T (Child Development Associates) OR, • PDIS Level II (with ECE 111 or EQIT Cert., ECE 101 and 103), • Bilingual - Spanish, Arabic, Amharic, or Somali (a plus) Mile High Early Learning is a drug-free workplace, and we perform pre-employment drug screenings.
