Job Description Guest Services Representative Part time / Evening and weekends availability required Starting Pay Rate = $17.50 per hour, with a $0.50 increase after 30 worked events! Location: Rate Field & United Center General Responsibilities: Provide each guest with a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment to view events at the Guaranteed Rate Field through knowledge of available guest services and facility familiarization. Demonstrated Skills: • Ability to follow direction, • Consistent high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment, • Approachable, friendly, and articulate, • Self-motivator with a positive attitude, • Ability to work effectively on a team, • Ability to adhere to scheduling methods and procedures, • Punctual, proactive, and accountable, • Maintain a fun, friendly, and safe environment in assigned sections, • Greet guests as they enter the arena with a smile, • Deliver outstanding customer service under a variety of circumstances, • Assist guests with disabilities, providing a wheelchair escort as requested, • Maintain a pleasant, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and coworkers, • Operate ticket scanners and ensure all guests have proper tickets or credentials, • Provide accurate information and directions to the various areas in the facility, • Operate elevators and escalators in a safe manner and ensure that only guests with proper tickets are allowed access to particular levels, • Document incidents and notify supervisors regarding issues that may require further attention, • Must be 16 years of age or older, • Must be available to work evening and weekend hours. Report time typically begin at 4:30pm on weekdays and can be any time on Saturdays and Sundays, • Must be able to stand and walk for a minimum of 5 hours, • Must be punctual and able to comply with attendance standards, • Average work hours will not exceed 1000 hours per calendar year, • The individual may be required to sit or walk up to 2/3 of the work shift, • The individual may also be required to use their hands, stoop, kneel or reach with their hands up to 1/3 of the work shift, • The individual may also be required to lift up to 10 pounds up to 2/3 of the work shift, • The physical demands described here are representative of those which must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
