Job Description Position: Project Accountant & Financial Analyst Location: Phoenix, AZ / Hybrid Reports to: Financial Controller Position Summary: NOW CFO is seeking a Project Accountant & Financial Analyst to join our client’s team. This hybrid role is a key contributor to the Group’s finance function, with responsibilities split by approximately 60% accounting and 40% financial analysis and operational support. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting expertise, analytical skills, and a proactive mindset to support both financial reporting and strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Accounting (60%) • Lead and support project accounting, including monthly revenue recognition and margin tracking at the project level., • Reconcile physical inventory to general ledger balances and resolve variances., • Participate in month/quarter/year-end close processes, including preparation of consolidated financial statements., • Manage general ledger and maintain monthly balance sheet schedules., • Support external audits and ensure timely responses to auditor requests., • Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies., • Assist with cash management and contribute to ERP implementation (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central)., • Research and prepare technical accounting memos related to ASC 842, ASC 350, ASC 718, ASC 606, and other relevant standards., • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis., • Identify and support cost reduction opportunities and operational efficiencies., • Collaborate cross-functionally with global teams across multiple time zones., • Provide financial insights and reporting to support strategic initiatives., • Support ERP optimization and reporting enhancements. Required: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; or CPA certified or pursuing certification., • 5–6 years of experience, ideally with a mix of public accounting (Big 4) and industry experience., • Strong understanding of US GAAP and technical accounting., • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal., • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently., • Experience leading or managing AP functions., • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP systems., • Familiarity with SQL and Microsoft Power BI., • Fast and accurate data entry skills. #IND2
