Job DescriptionTITLE: Warehouse P.O.S CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt, Incentive REPORTS TO: Space Manager Pay Rate: $19.50/hr Purpose of position: To provide sales assistance with point of sales in accounts through effective support, and communication, while promoting exceptional customer service. Essential Functions: (must be able to perform these functions, with or without reasonable accommodation). • Highly self motivated and results orientated with the ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, and be attentive to details., • Ability to work alone and alongside all Donaghy sales teammates/personnel., • Ability to properly use hand trucks/forklifts/pallet jacket/rolling racks/carts., • Must be able to work a flexible and long hour, on short notice, including weekends, holidays and occasionally more than 40 hours per week., • Proficient in Office (word, excel, power point), • Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment., • Strong verbal and written communication skills, • Able to understand and read invoices, load sheets, job orders installation and set-up instructions., • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, while in a moving vehicle., • Ability to calculate simple math functions., • Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs. as well as hang merchandise., • Ability to climb ladders., • Ability of repetitive hand use grasp, handle, touch, and grip., • Ability of repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs. overhead), bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and twisting, • Pushing and pulling up to 340 pounds on a two-wheeler, • Must maintain a current Class C driver license and be insurable according to company standards., • Must be able to drive company vehicle., • Must be able to use and operate a forklift. Skills, knowledge, and abilities: (these are required to enable job holder to perform the essential functions of the job). • Comply with all legal guidelines, wholesaler agreement and AB standards., • Observes safety procedures and personnel policies., • Communicate and interact and assist all sales personnel with POS requests., • Maintain and track all POS items via digital and paper logs. Both permanent (Neon lights/coolers/etc.) and temporary (pole toppers/paper signage/etc.)., • Check in all POS/Cooler/Material deliveries., • Break down all deliveries and update and track any missing items on PO (purchase orders). Notify immediate supervisor/AR of missing PO orders and items., • Distribute and deliver all types of POS (both permanent and temporary) request made by the Sales department to retail accounts including but not limited to: Delivery and Set up/assembly of POS, filling coolers with required product, assisting and building displays for all Donaghy Sales product, Merchandising/Delivering DS products and adhering to all delivery and rotation polices., • Coordinating and assisting Graphics department to meet time sensitive deadlines with Cooler wraps/all signage. Both new and/or refreshing/replacing competitive wraps., • Responsible for maintaining a current and up to date logs of cooler wrap installations and cooler drop offs., • Responsible for maintaining a weekly and updated inventory logs of all POS material. Maintaining accurate inventories., • Send off inventory and prize lists to Senior management on or prior to set deadlines., • Assist with Scrub brush duties including but not limited to updating account scrub brush forms, identifying old or damaged permanent POS such as Neon lights, etc., • Assisting Sales Manager and Sales Department on Holiday weeks/Power weeks/Supplier visits with tasks including but not limited to: Delivery of all DS products and maintaining company rotation standards, merchandising all DS products on retailers’ shelves. Moving all DS products to other retail accounts to ensure sell through (close coded/aging products), • Responsible for maintaining published product freshness standards in assigned retail accounts by monitoring and rotating product., • Merchandising with P.O.S materials., • Responsible to daily decisions regarding retail inventory levels using past sales history, changes in climate, competition activity, and special promotional activities., • Attend sales and team meetings as directed by management along with daily interaction with managers to discuss sales issues., • Responsible for any other tasks deemed necessary by Immediate Supervisor, Sales Manager, and/or Sales Director. Experience and Education Requirements: Must be 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and safe driving record. One (1) year of selling or merchandising experience in the beverage industry or grocery retail, preferred. Working Conditions: Moderate physical exertion, exposure to inclement weather, and exposure to fumes and noise from vehicle.
