Job Description Job Title: General Production Worker Job Description This role supports a clean, temperature-controlled production line where each team member operates within their own work cell. You will handle lubrication liquids in glass bottles from start to finish, including filling, capping, sealing, labeling, inspecting, and carefully packing products that are regulated for quality and safety. You will rotate across multiple stations, contribute to shipping preparation, and document any quality issues or shipment delays as needed. Responsibilities • Work on a production line within an individual work cell to perform filling, capping, sealing, labeling, and inspection of glass bottles containing lubrication liquid., • Operate at multiple stations and rotate duties as needed to support overall production flow., • Carefully box, wrap, and pack glass bottles to prevent damage and maintain compliance with regulatory standards., • Perform packaging and labeling of products according to established procedures and quality requirements., • Stack finished boxes near the shipping area in an organized and safe manner to support efficient outbound logistics., • Document any quality issues, nonconformances, or delays with shipments and communicate them promptly to the appropriate team members., • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and cleanroom standards as required to maintain a safe and compliant production environment., • Assist with general production tasks such as assembly, packing, and machine operation as directed., • Support inspection activities to ensure products meet quality and regulatory standards before shipment., • Contribute to a safe and orderly work area by following all safety guidelines and maintaining cleanliness., • Lift and move boxes or materials up to approximately 20 pounds periodically throughout the day., • Collaborate with team members in production and shipping to meet daily output and quality goals., • When qualified, assist the shipping team with forklift operation to help load trucks and move materials. Essential Skills • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in production line work, packing, or operating simple production equipment (button pushing)., • Comfort working with repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail and quality., • Ability to lift up to approximately 20 pounds sporadically throughout the day., • Experience in general production, manufacturing, or assembly environments., • Capability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and standard operating procedures., • Strong focus on accuracy in packaging, labeling, and inspection of products., • Ability to work independently within a work cell while contributing to a team environment., • Basic machine operation skills appropriate for production and packaging equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • 1 year of GMP experience in medical, food, or similar regulated environments., • Experience with quality inspection and documentation of quality issues or deviations., • Forklift experience to support shipping operations and truck loading., • Exposure to medical or FDA-regulated products and related documentation practices., • Familiarity with general packaging, packing, and shipping processes. The environment follows GMP and cleanroom-oriented practices where appropriate, supporting consistent quality and safety. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Skokie, IL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
