Job Description Under limited supervision, the Call Center Representative (CCR) performs all duties related to scheduling appointment, registration of patient, including obtaining insurance information and verification of insurance coverage, demographics, and medical history. The CCR answers and manages multiplies phone lines in a courteous and friendly manner, direct calls and send messages to the appropriate person in the office, and handles high call volume, accurately and efficiently. Job Duties: • Answer and direct telephone calls, greet callers in a friendly manner, • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, • Interview patients to complete documents, histories, and registration forms, • Input insurance information, • Verify insurance information, • Receive and route messages and documents to appropriate staff, • Transmit history forms and prescriptions (such as MRIs, prescriptions, and data sheets) by mail, email, or fax, • Maintain physician schedules, • High School diploma or equivalent, • One year of clerical or customer-service experience (preferably in a medical office), • The ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues as they arise, • The ability to multitask and operate a multiline phone system and computer, • One or more years of medical billing or call center experience, • Ability to multitask as well as possess adequate organizations skills, • Experience inputting insurance information, personal information, and patient medical records into an EHR/EMR system, • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical abbreviations, • Exceptional written and verbal communication and comprehension skillsCompany DescriptionSynergy Health Partners is a healthcare management organization at the forefront of patient care.
