Position Summary: The Lead SUD Clinician is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all clinical aspects of RTFNetworks Substance Use Disorder program. This includes ensuring regulatory compliance, managing staff, delivering direct clinical services, facilitating professional development, and actively participating in the growth and continuous improvement of the SUD program. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Clinical Services • Deliver high-quality individual, group, and family counseling services to clients diagnosed with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions., • Complete intake assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, ASAM assessments, and individualized treatment plans in a timely and compliant manner., • Utilize evidence-based approaches such as Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-informed practices., • Monitor client progress, revise treatment plans as needed, and participate in discharge planning., • Provide weekly clinical supervision and support to SUD clinicians, counselors, and interns in accordance with Maryland Board standards., • Lead case conferences and provide oversight for treatment plan reviews, documentation quality, and caseload management., • Foster a supportive and accountable work culture grounded in clinical excellence and ethical practice., • Ensure program operations comply with COMAR, Medicaid/MCO billing standards, ASAM guidelines, and Joint Commission accreditation requirements., • Conduct regular chart audits, oversee corrective action plans, and report compliance outcomes to the CEO., • Participate in internal and external audits, licensing visits, and accreditation reviews., • Collaborate with executive leadership to plan and implement programmatic growth strategies and service enhancements., • Assist in the development of group curricula, client engagement protocols, and recovery support strategies., • Coordinate with other RTFNetwork departments (e.g., OMHC, PRP, Medication Management) for integrated care delivery., • Represent the SUD program in community meetings, stakeholder collaborations, and referral partnerships., • All additional duties assigned. Required Qualifications: • Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field, • Active Maryland clinical license, • Minimum of three (3) years of direct clinical experience in SUD treatment, • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a clinical supervisory or leadership capacity, • Familiarity with COMAR, Joint Commission standards, and ASAM Criteria, • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills, • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting Preferred Qualifications: • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAC-AD, LCADC) or equivalent credential, • Experience using EHR systems such as TheraNest, • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, harm reduction, and culturally responsive treatment models, • Familiarity with grant reporting or performance outcomes management Compensation and Benefits: • Competitive salary based on experience and licensure, • Flexible hybrid work schedule, • Health insurance stipend after the probationary period, • Paid time off and holidays, • Clinical supervision and CEU, • Leadership development and advancement opportunities

Job Description Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Vice President, Managed Care and Value Based Contracting serves as FPI’s point person for payer contracting and operational payer related issues (Federal, State and delegated) as well as managing all activities and aspects required for the organization to meet regulatory requirements for clinical quality reporting in collaboration with departmental leadership. Performs ongoing payer assessments and analyzes impact to FPI. Oversees payer relationships, contract negotiations, compliance, optimization of payer agreements, and the implementation of value-based programs. Develops and executes contracting strategies, managing relationships with payers, and ensuring successful integration of value-based initiatives. Plans for the successful execution of all FPI practice projects related to EQIP, ECIP, MD PCP, PCMH and MIPS program registration and attestation for all eligible clinicians. Serves as central contact to coordinate FPI payer contracts and UMSOM clinical department business development initiatives. Establishes collaborative relationships with SOM clinical department leadership and the UMMS office of managed care. Partners with executive leadership in setting strategic goals and aligning the quality vision for the organization while ensuring financial health.
