We are seeking a Director of Program Strategy & Management to lead the full lifecycle of strategic programs across Capricor’s therapeutic portfolio. This senior leadership role will oversee cross-functional initiatives spanning R&D, regulatory, operations, and quality, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, timelines, and compliance standards. You will serve as a key partner to executive leadership, driving program execution, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement across the organization. You will also be supported by a dedicated Project Manager who will assist in tactical execution, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.Responsibilities • Lead strategic programs from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives., • Manage cross-functional teams across R&D, regulatory, operations, and quality to deliver program milestones., • Develop and maintain integrated program plans, tracking deliverables, timelines, risks, and budgets., • Identify and mitigate program-level risks through proactive planning and stakeholder engagement., • Provide regular updates to senior leadership, including dashboards, risk assessments, and decision support., • Implement and refine program management processes and tools to drive operational excellence., • Ensure all program activities meet regulatory requirements and internal quality standards., • Mentor and guide team members and stakeholders to foster collaboration and accountability., • Support strategic planning and scenario modeling for future growth initiatives.Requirements, • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) preferred., • 10+ years of program management experience in biopharma, cell therapy, or biotech., • Proven leadership in managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders., • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans., • Excellent communication skills for engaging with technical and executive audiences., • Proficiency in program management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira) and Microsoft Office Suite., • Deep understanding of FDA and EMA regulatory frameworks., • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.Work Environment and Physical Demands, • Professional office or remote work environment., • Prolonged periods of computer use for planning, documentation, and reporting., • Occasional travel may be required for program coordination and stakeholder engagement.
