Position Overview As the Assistant Manager – Grange Hall (AM), you will support the daily food and beverage operations of the restaurant during morning, lunch, and early-day service periods. This role plays an important part in ensuring service standards are upheld, team members are supported, and guests receive a warm and memorable experience. The Assistant Manager serves as a hands-on leader on the floor, helping guide the team through service while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is organized, guest-focused, and committed to delivering exceptional hospitality while supporting the leadership team in maintaining smooth and efficient operations. Key Responsibilities • Support the daily operation of Grange Hall during morning and daytime service periods, ensuring a refined and welcoming dining experience consistent with luxury resort standards., • Stay informed on food, beverage, and hospitality trends that enhance the guest experience., • Work closely with the Culinary team to ensure strong coordination between kitchen and service during each shift., • Engage with guests throughout service, building personal connections and ensuring a warm and memorable dining experience., • Support staffing needs and assist with shift coverage and team deployment to ensure smooth service operations., • Assist with training and development of team members, reinforcing wine and cocktail knowledge, menu expertise, and luxury service standards., • Uphold and reinforce service standards, professionalism, and attention to detail during all service periods., • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, supporting communication and cooperation across departments., • Work closely with Culinary, Outside Operations, Events, and other Food & Beverage outlets to support seamless resort operations., • Assist with ordering, inventory management, and operational controls to support efficient outlet operations., • Support training and coaching of team members on menu knowledge, beverage offerings, and service techniques., • Ensure opening procedures, service readiness, and operational organization are completed prior to service., • Help ensure invoices, deliveries, and purchasing documentation are handled in accordance with resort procedures., • Ensure Grange Hall maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming environment while promoting a safe workplace., • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality from a recognized University or College is a plus., • 1 – 2 years of leadership experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a luxury resort or hotel setting., • Strong culinary knowledge/interest is a plus., • Basic wine knowledge is a plus., • Must be a creative and effective leader and a team player possessing a high degree of professionalism; sound human resources, communication, interpersonal, and administrative skills (including computer literacy); ambition; drive; energy; and determination., • Proficiency with computer software systems, POS, Microsoft Office Suite., • Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment. Working Conditions • Able to work long hours, be flexible, and work well under pressure., • Ability to spend long hours moving around, walking, sitting, standing., • Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps., • Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting., • Exerting up to 50+ pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, or otherwise move objects.
