Position Summary Hellas, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual Project Manager to join our Track Division. This role is responsible for managing multiple assigned projects from award through close-out, ensuring successful execution on time and within budget. Due to the structure and scope of Track projects, the Project Manager may oversee 30 to 45+ projects annually depending on project size and complexity. This position requires strong financial oversight, scheduling discipline, and operational coordination. The Project Manager assumes full ownership of project Profit and Loss (P&L) performance while working closely with internal Superintendents, Foremen, Accounting, and Leadership to ensure seamless execution. Key Responsibilities Project & Financial Management • Assume full responsibility for project Profit and Loss (P&L)., • Manage multiple projects concurrently from contract award through close-out., • Conduct monthly Work In Process (WIP) reviews., • Manage all monthly pay estimates including pencil, initial, and final submissions., • Invoice monthly for work completed., • Prepare and submit close-out documentation for all projects., • Review recently completed projects to reconcile and close invalid Purchase Orders., • Prepare Weekly Job Reports (WJRs)., • Conduct project-level audits of documentation including job costs, purchase orders, subcontracts, and schedules., • Examine financial, sales, and performance data to monitor productivity and overall effectiveness., • Communicate financial performance metrics to Accounting and Senior Leadership. Scheduling & Operational Coordination • Develop and update the Master Track Schedule multiple times per week., • Ensure all Track projects are properly scheduled and prepared for timely completion., • Coordinate across time zones with Project Managers on projects that include a track component., • Maintain organized project documentation including paper files, printed schedules, electronic schedules, and submittals., • Publish construction plans and Work Orders., • Order materials in advance, including insurance and bonds., • Submit and track submittals., • Collaborate closely with Superintendents and field crews to ensure materials, equipment, and supplies are available on an ongoing basis., • Evaluate resource utilization and adjust to changing site conditions., • Review specifications, drawings, field reports, daily metrics, job boards, and photo documentation., • Record and report project progress through accurate schedule updates. Warranty & Performance Oversight • Review warranty issues submitted to the Track Department by clients., • Confirm warranty validity and prepare cost reports for Senior Leadership approval., • Minimum two years of project management experience within a construction environment., • PMP certification preferred but not required., • Fully bilingual in English and Spanish required., • Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications., • Demonstrated knowledge of budgeting, accounting principles, and financial oversight., • Experience with inventory control preferred., • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project., • Ability to learn and utilize additional software platforms including ComputerEase, mJobtime, Procore, and Visio., • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously., • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to professionally interact with clients, vendors, engineers, and internal stakeholders. Work Environment & Travel This position may require some travel to project sites. The role operates in a fast-paced construction environment that demands flexibility, responsiveness, and proactive problem-solving.
