Job Description Closing: Monday, November 10th, 2025, at 9:00 PM (PST) OR When 150 Applications Are Received Position: Senior Technical Assistant β Homeless Resolution & Prevention (Measure A funded) Department: Lancaster Police Department Hourly Range: $27.06-$31.32 Classification: Temporary FLSA: Non-Exempt β Overtime Eligible Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides logistical, administrative, and program support for the City of Lancasterβs homelessness response initiatives funded by Measure A. Responsible for supporting the coordination of community events, assisting with service provider engagement, contributing to program documentation, and assisting with quarterly reporting efforts. This position is funded by Measure A through the County of Los Angeles. The City and County will evaluate the effectiveness of the position on an annual basis to determine the next fiscal yearβs funding level. Either party may terminate funding for the position at the end of each fiscal year, resulting in termination of the position. Supervisory Responsibilities: β’ None Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: β’ Oversee program activities to ensure alignment with goals and service standards outlined in County contracts and MOAβs with service providers., β’ Collaborate closely with service providers to enhance coordination and improve program service delivery outcomes., β’ Maintain partnerships with nonprofit, and city service providers to support program effectiveness., β’ Assist in developing and implementing program evaluation tools and methods in partnership with the Homeless Coordinator., β’ Collect, analyze, and compile program data including service delivery metrics, attendance, and referral outcomes to support quarterly reporting., β’ Prepare comprehensive quarterly reports summarizing program impact, challenges, and recommendations., β’ Support the planning and coordination of community events that align with program objectives and service delivery enhancements., β’ Assist in the preparation and dissemination of program materials, surveys, and partner communications to ensure consistent messaging and feedback collection., β’ Document and relay partner feedback and community input to inform continuous program improvement., β’ Monitor program implementation and actively contribute to identifying and addressing gaps or barriers within services., β’ Prepare and submit program budget requests, assess personnel, equipment, and collaborate with superiors on funding priorities., β’ Support weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly program meetings, ensuring programs remain centered on human impact and real-time data., β’ Enter and maintain accurate program and service data using Tyler software to support tracking, reporting, and compliance requirements., β’ Prepare MOAβs, purchase orders, review and enter invoices into financial system., β’ Perform other related duties as assigned.
