Job Title: Kitchen Production Supervisor Reports To: Kitchen General Manager FLSA Status: Exempt Note: This operation runs 24/7, and individual schedules are determined by volume and client needs. Weekend availability is required and the facility is only closed three days each year. Position Summary The Kitchen Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily food production activities, ensuring food quality, safety, and consistency are upheld to meet company and customer standards. This position plays a vital role in coordinating staff, managing production schedules, and enforcing sanitation and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced kitchen and warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities Production & Operations Oversight • Supervise and coordinate all kitchen production activities to meet established daily output and quality standards., • Develop, implement, and control production schedules to ensure timely and efficient delivery., • Monitor adherence to food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines across all operations., • Maintain compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local food safety regulations., • Ensure proper usage of materials and equipment, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity., • Assign tasks to kitchen staff, monitor performance, and support employee development., • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate expectations and process updates., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support warehouse and customer service needs., • Promote a positive and productive work environment with a strong focus on teamwork., • Respond to production-related customer concerns or complaints and work to resolve them efficiently., • Maintain accurate records related to production schedules, employee performance, and quality standards., • Manage internal and external communications through proper email etiquette., • Ensure all employees follow safety guidelines, including the use of PPE and proper food handling practices., • Enforce sanitation and cleanliness standards in accordance with HACCP and MSDS protocols., • HACCP Certification required, • Strong knowledge of food production and kitchen operations, • Minimum 3–5 years of supervisory experience in food processing, kitchen production, or warehouse environments, • Proficient in MS Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), • Excellent communication and leadership skills, • Ability to work any assigned shift based on business needs, • High attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset, • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, • Comfortable working on your feet and in varying temperature conditions, • Ability to sit at a computer for administrative duties as needed.
