Job Description We are actively hiring for the position of Manufacturing Machine Operator for our plant in Arlington, TX Shift: 1st shift 5:00 AM – 2:30 PM Monday - Friday Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 Duties & Responsibilities: * Access IMS program to determine priority jobs and set workload for the day. * Place printed jobs on a folding machine and set up to make bifold, trifold, according to job specifications. * Observe the folding machine while running to make any adjustments and ensure a smooth and accurate fold run. * Replace worn out rubber stoppers and adjust to ensure an accurate fold, using hand tools when required. * Record production and operational data using the IMS system, such as entering completed jobs. * Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately. * Ensure all equipment, tools, and workstations are in good working order and are free of any safety hazards. * Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs. * Must be proactive with completing other duties as assigned. Job Description Bilingual Automate Line Operator We are looking for a technically minded packaging line operator to join our company. In this role, your duties will include the start-up, operation and basic daily task to ensure the packaging line is operating smoothly and producing quality products for retail distribution. As a successful line operator, you should pay meticulous attention to detail and have the ability to troubleshoot minor problems. We are looking for an operator that is solution driven. Pay rate: $17/h - $19/h after learning all the equipment Duties/Responsibilities: • Responsible for the operation of the production line with established speeds to ensure line performance and throughput that meet daily productions levels., • Operate line equipment used for packaging products in the production area daily., • Start up and stop equipment as necessary., • Refill packaging material on the line., • Perform routine checks to ensure that machine(s) is in operable state., • Execute basic preventative maintenance on the machine and maintain the cleanliness of equipment and work area., • Ensure the correct product and dates are used for specific recipes., • Perform proper change over processes with recipes., • Perform minor mechanical adjustments as needed for material variances., • Report faulty packaging, product, or problems on the machines to the relevant supervisors and managers., • Adhere to the safety regulations and protocols implemented in the production are including LOTO., • Communicate needs to maintenance, quality, and production., • Complete all relevant documentation in company WMS including scrap and waste, and end of job reconciliation., • Oversee employees on the production line., • Develop Knowledge of product being packaged and best methods for line personnel to perform their duties., • Provide guidance and training to line personnel. Participate in continuous improvement and safety. Coilers/wire formers (CNC programming) for existing parts. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Include but are not limited to): • Set up wire coiling machine / change wire, • Responsible for accuracy of all transactions within the department, • Machine and support equipment preparation. Assure the machine is cleaned, properly lubricated and prepared before each set up., • Minimize downtime through tooling preparation and requisition of materials prior to machine availability for set up, • Implement the control plan for the production process (i.e. load testing, dimentionals), • Ensure the equipment is serviced as required before the operation, • Perform set ups of machines per specified instructions. Make necessary allowances for heat treating / stress relieve operation when applicable., • Basic spring calculation, • Creation of set up card for new items. Review and revision of set up cards for revision of existing items, • Perform Machine preventive maintenance, • Maintain equipment to assure it is operated according to equipment specifications and safety standards., • Inspection and SPC control per QSYS /control plan instructions. Make adjustments when necessary., • Assure proper monitoring of the production to assure quality parameters are met. Tooling must be maintained and stored per procedures., • Monitor tooling inventory.
