Position Summary: The Space & Workplace Experience Planner is responsible for supporting the strategic and operational development of facilities across a national footprint. This role plays a critical part in workplace planning, space utilization, and the implementation of real estate initiatives. The position requires a strong background in facilities planning, space optimization, and project execution. The planner will partner with cross-functional teams to enable efficient workspace design, scenario modeling, and long-term planning aligned with organizational goals across multiple sites. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Conduct space utilization studies and recommend layout enhancements to improve workplace efficiency., • Maintain and update master space plans for current and future locations., • Support hybrid work strategies through flexible occupancy models and adaptive floor plans., • Assist with long-term planning, including headcount projections and space requirement modeling., • Analyze capacity and utilization data to inform real estate and strategic planning decisions., • Coordinate small to mid-sized facility projects, including reconfigurations, renovations, and relocations., • Track project milestones, budgets, and vendor performance; maintain alignment with strategic goals., • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., HR, IT, Security) to ensure seamless execution and continuity., • Prepare layouts and data to support lease negotiations, expansions, and site selection efforts., • Contribute to workplace standards, buildout planning, and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) specifications. Qualifications and Competencies Required To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. • 5–7 years of experience in facilities planning, space optimization, or workplace project management., • Proficiency in space planning tools (e.g., OfficeSpace, SerraView, FMSystems, AutoCAD, or other IWMS platforms)., • Solid knowledge of project management principles and tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, or Monday.com) would be desirable., • Experience supporting hybrid workplace models or multi-location environments., • Overtime required – required on an as needed basis., • Travel 10-20% - as required on an as needed basis., • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ. Qualifications Preferred: • Certified Facility Manager (CFM), PMP, or equivalent certification., • Familiarity with lease administration, move management, and facilities software systems., • Knowledge of workplace wellness and sustainability principles is a plus. Work Schedule This position requires the ability to work various shifts to accommodate business needs. Typically, between the hours of 8AM-6PM Monday through Friday and on weekends as needed.
