QUALIFICATIONS: Required Experience: • Five (5) or more years of progressive work experience in partner/stakeholder management and engagement in the Caribbean, preferably in the humanitarian sector, to include any/all of the following:, • Partnership identification, outreach, and cultivation;, • Design and management of partner agreements and events; and/or, • Supporting donor-funded projects to advance rapid response and resilience., • Desirable lived experience in the region;, • Three (3) or more years experience operating in partner/stakeholder management preferably in an international context; and, • Proven experience developing programs and teams. Required Education: • BA in humanitarian affairs, communications, marketing, international relations, public relations or related field; or, • Equivalent combination of relevant experience and training; and, • Masters of Public Administration (MPA) or a degree in a related field is desirable. Role and Responsibilities The Mechanical Startup Technician is responsible for the field-based startup of the mechanical equipment, pre-commissioning, testing, and initial hand-over of mechanical systems and equipment to the TAB contractor, 3rd party commissioning agent and/or owner. This role ensures the newly installed mechanical systems (i.e. HVAC equipment, hydronic systems, pumps, compressors, and associated controls) are functional, efficient, safe, and meet design, manufacturer specifications, and MSS overall quality standards. The Technician will collaborate with the field installation teams, controls technicians, MSS engineers, and/or Project Managers to deliver reliable operation and support the transition to maintenance/operations teams. • Execute and document mechanical system and equipment startups: verify proper installation, electrical wiring is correct for all equipment, perform functional tests, and verify intended operation per design specs and manufacturer guidelines., • Troubleshoot mechanical equipment, systems, and operations during commissioning/startup phases. Job Description Owen Electric Company Safety Manager: The Electrical Safety Manager will provide the safety support needed to help identify gaps in Electrical Safety Program. They will help implement safety controls associated with electrical work hazards, including field review/validation, process development of electrical work hazardous guidelines and in field safety observations. They will also review safety lock-out/tagout procedure verification and personal protective equipment for associated electrical work scopes to help classify/prevent hazards related to electrocution, electric shock, burns or electrical fires. Consultation will also be expected on electrical safety issues and the use of standards including but not limited to OSHA, NEC (NFPA 70), NFPA 70E, and EM-385.
