As a Senior Delivery Leadership Consultant specializing in Product & Agile Coaching, you will enhance the translation of product strategy into execution, strengthen product practices, and raise delivery standards across teams where stakes and expectations are high. You’ll work in a practitioner-led, growing practice that prioritizes delivery credibility, rewarding those who build trust quickly, adeptly navigate complexity, and consistently deliver results. Additionally, you will support business development, contribute to thought leadership, and help advance AIM’s delivery leadership practice. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Product & Agile Coaching (Primary Focus) • Embed with teams to improve how work is defined, prioritized, and executed, • Coach Product Managers and teams to connect vision, strategy, and roadmap to backlog, • Guide teams in translating priorities into clear, outcome-driven epics, stories, and acceptance criteria, • Improve backlog health, prioritization, sequencing, and alignment to business value, • Coach across multiple teams concurrently, balancing priorities while driving consistent product and agile practices, • Align team-level coaching with transformation program-level priorities, standards, and guidance, • Provide real-time coaching during planning, refinement, and working sessions to improve clarity and execution quality, • Identify and correct misalignment between product intent and delivery, as well as anti-patterns and ineffective practices, • Drive rapid improvement within defined timelines, focusing on practical, sustainable changes, • Identify effective practices and reinforce consistency across teams to enable scaling Agile Practices & Team Enablement • Strengthen team application of Scrum and Agile practices, planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives, • Reinforce practical, usable behaviors, not theoretical frameworks, • Partner with Product, Engineering, Scrum roles, and OCM to align execution and adoption, • Influence teams without authority to drive consistent, high-quality ways of working Product & Agile Execution Support (Secondary, Distinct from Coaching) • Support planning, execution, and tracking of transformation initiatives without taking ownership of delivery, • Help teams and leaders identify risks, dependencies, and execution gaps, • Provide structure to improve delivery predictability, coordination, and alignment across teams Training & Workshop Development and Delivery • Design and deliver foundational and role-based training on product and agile practices, • Facilitate hands-on workshops tied directly to real teamwork and delivery, • Translate concepts into practical application and reinforce through follow-up coaching Thought Leadership and Practice Development • Contribute to the development of product, agile, and delivery leadership, thought leadership, • Stay current on industry trends and continuously refine coaching approaches, • Help evolve AIM methodologies, tools, and delivery frameworks Your knowledge and skillset likely include the following: • 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Agile coaching, Scrum Master roles, or similar delivery-focused positions, • 5+ years of management consulting experience with strong consulting EQ, • Experience supporting medium to large transformations across multiple teams simultaneously, • Proven ability to improve end-to-end product execution, including connecting vision, strategy, and roadmap to backlog and day-to-day delivery, • Deep expertise in product execution practices, including backlog management, prioritization, story writing, and work breakdown, • Experience coaching teams across the full work lifecycle, from intake and prioritization through delivery and release, • Strong command of Agile and Scrum practices, with the ability to coach teams in real time and address common anti-patterns, • Ability to identify and correct execution issues, including unclear work, poor backlog structure, and misalignment between product and delivery, • Strong collaboration skills working with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams, with the ability to influence without authority, • Experience coaching managers and team leads on product and agile practices, • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to create executive-ready materials, • Demonstrated ability to operate in fast-paced environments and adapt approach based on team needs and feedback, • Experience using tools such as Jira or similar to improve workflow visibility and structure, • Relevant certifications such as CSM, CSPO, ICP-ACC, or similar, and a Bachelor’s degree or MBA At AIM Consulting, we value people from all walks of life.
