Job DescriptionSalary: $90,000 - $100,000 The Director of Franchise Onboarding & Launch is a strategic leader responsible for the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the franchisee onboarding and launch lifecycle at Threshold Brands. This role ensures a seamless transition from franchise signing to a fully operational and profitable business. The Director leads a high-performing team responsible for delivering a structured, impactful, and brand-aligned onboarding experience. This position requires cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and an unwavering focus on franchisee success and system scalability. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Vision • Own and evolve the onboarding and launch strategy to meet organizational growth objectives and franchisee performance standards., • Define key metrics and performance indicators to measure onboarding effectiveness and franchisee ramp-up., • Align onboarding outcomes with broader operational, brand, and financial goals across all franchise brands under Threshold. Team Leadership & People Management • Directly manage a team of onboarding specialists, including hiring, performance management, coaching, and development., • Foster a high-performance team culture rooted in accountability, service excellence, and continuous improvement., • Ensure appropriate staffing, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet onboarding demand. Program Management & Delivery • Oversee the development and execution of a phased, multi-modal onboarding curriculum (virtual, in-person, field-based)., • Ensure training content is updated regularly to reflect brand evolution, operational enhancements, and industry standards., • Lead the design and administration of assessments and milestone reviews to validate learning and progress. Franchisee Launch Ownership • Serve as an executive-level partner and coach for new franchisees during their first 612 months post-launch., • Conduct strategic business planning sessions, focusing on revenue growth, local marketing execution, sales performance, and financial milestones., • Coordinate with brand and operations leaders to continuously update and improve the franchisee launch roadmap. Cross-Functional Alignment • Collaborate closely with internal departments (Marketing, Operations, Legal, Finance, IT) to ensure end-to-end onboarding success., • Ensure internal teams are fully briefed, prepared, and aligned to support franchisee training at each stage of onboarding. Reporting & Business Intelligence • Leverage data dashboards and reporting tools to monitor onboarding performance, franchisee health, and program impact., • Analyze financials (e.g., P&Ls, proformas) to help franchisees identify gaps and build sound business practices., • Report regularly to executive leadership with key metrics, risks, and improvement plans. Required Experience & Qualifications: • 5+ years in franchise operations, training and development, or new business onboarding, with 2+ years in a leadership or director-level role., • Proven experience managing teams, setting performance goals, and leading with a people-first mindset., • Deep understanding of franchise models, small business operations, and early-stage business growth., • Demonstrated expertise in instructional design, adult learning, and multi-channel training delivery., • Strong business acumen with the ability to coach franchisees in sales, marketing, and financial performance., • Tech-savvy with proficiency in tools such as Salesforce, G-Suite, Microsoft Office, LMS platforms, and data dashboards., • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills., • Ability to travel as needed to support in-person training and franchisee launches.
