Job Description Prospect14 focuses on the scaled origination and development of renewable energy and energy storage projects in multiple markets in the United States. Since its inception, Prospect14 has originated approximately 5GWdc of solar and solar + storage projects. Prospect14 is developing utility-scale and community solar energy projects across North America. We enable landowners, power purchasers, and later-stage project developers to participate in the rapid growth of the solar energy market. Position Overview: At Prospect14, the Project Development team leads development of assets from Origination hand-off through all phases of development up to construction NTP. The VP of Development will manage a nine-person department of developers and interconnection engineers. The VP of Development will act both as a mentor and "player/coach" to the Development team and sit on the senior leadership team at Prospect14 along with three other VPs and the President. Prospect14 develops many of its projects under Development Service Agreements with customers so the VP of Development will be a key customer relationship manager. This is a broad role in a collaborative team environment. We are seeking a candidate local to the Mid-Atlantic region but will consider a remote-based position which may require travel to project sites or stakeholder meetings.
