TITLE: Sr. Sales Manager LOCATION: Remote in Illinois, Northwest Indiana, Georgia COMP RANGE: $115,000 - 160,000/year Griffith Foods is hiring a Sr. Sales Manager to lead a team of five (5) sales professionals in achieving annual sales objectives in line with our Purpose-Driven Strategy. You will provide leadership to support the sales team in achieving profitable growth and Health & Nutrition growth (margin) objectives. Success in the role will ensure your team has the appropriate resources available to successfully execute objectives through focus on our total North American portfolio, core customer retention and acquisition customer assessment and engagement. As a Sr. Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include: • To provide input in development and implementation of strategic plans to meet organizational goals, • Communicate customer requirements internally by collaborating with the QSR, Foodservice, Retail and Protein teams to lead opportunities that cross segments., • Actively participate in sales forecasting activities to support goals while still meeting customer requirements., • Working with the North American sales team, penetrate key customers by broadening the portfolio scope of products sold., • Supports execution of pricing strategy, including pricing action at key customers., • Evaluates product and service marketability in terms of customers' needs., • Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition., • Aligns with marketing, customer service, R&D, culinary, sensory, insights, and others to ensure the broader team is focused and informed of key customer opportunities and challenges. The Sr. Sales Manager position is well-suited for you if you: • Have a passion for developing strong relationships and collaboration for the success of others, your team, Griffith Foods customers and internal teams., • Enjoy working with customers to position Griffith Foods as their product development partner developing strategic initiatives to achieve and maintain competitive advantage., • Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, Food Science, or related Education requirement OR equivalent, • At least 7 years' experience in Sales or Business Development within Food, CPG, or Ingredients industry, • Master's degree, • 10 years demonstrated experience in food/beverage, CPG, and/or ingredient related B2B sales leadership team, emphasizing collaborative decision making and cross-functional alignment, • Proven organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple customers and deadlines. There is potential for a discretionary bonus, with a target of 25%. This bonus is based on personal & company performance and is not a guaranteed bonus plan.
