ESSESNTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Conduct initial and periodic in-person assessments to evaluate participants’ functional abilities, home environment, and rehabilitation needs., • Recommend and coordinate adaptive equipment, home modifications, and therapy services to promote safety and independence., • Develop, implement, and revise individualized treatment plans based on participant progress and IDT collaboration., • Deliver OT interventions across settings including the PACE center, clinic, participants’ homes, and contracted facilities., • Educate participants and caregivers on equipment use, home safety strategies, and ADL programs., • Maintain timely, accurate documentation of assessments, treatment, and participant progress per regulatory and organizational standards., • Actively participate in daily IDT meetings, contributing to comprehensive care planning and 24-hour care coordination., • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs), including review of care plans, co-signing documentation, and providing ongoing mentorship., • Train staff in safe OT practices and equipment use to enhance participant care., • Support quality improvement, utilization review, and compliance initiatives., • Perform other IDT duties as needed within scope of practice and competencies., • Advanced degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy, • Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in the state, • Two (2) years of experience working on an interdisciplinary team in a hospital, nursing home or community-based setting is preferable., • 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population preferred. Job Description Summary The Acute Dialysis Unit provides inpatient dialysis services at 2 locations: MUSC Main Hospital has a 10-bed unit located on the fifth floor of the Main Hospital Building. Ashley River Tower and Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital is supported with a 4-bed unit located on the 6th floor of ART. Service is provided 24/7. The two Dialysis Units are fully staff Monday through Saturday 06:30-19:00. After hours/Sundays are covered by limited in-house and on call coverage. Evening Shift 3:30 PM - Midnight Monday – Friday $18.00 - $21.00 per hour based on experience Responsibilities: • Maintain an accurate running inventory., • Put away and retrieve inbound and outbound pallets to be used to prepare goods for shipment as instructed through customer requests, internal pick tickets and routing guides throughout the facility., • Pick, pack, and prepare goods for shipment as instructed through customer requests, internal pick tickets and routing guides throughout the facility., • Maintains the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area and ensures good housekeeping; including but not limited to pallet breakdown, re-palletizing freight, and restocking inventory as needed., • Handles all duties related to the receipt of goods; accepting deliveries, unloading merchandise from arriving trucks, inspects, verifies, and records all deliveries according to company policy., • Support teamwork and continuous improvement through performing other related duties as assigned., • Maintains and adheres to strong safety standards and complies with all regulations. Requirements: • Turret Truck or Cherry Picker experience required., • Previous Material Handling Equipment (powered-electrical) experience required., • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures., • Must demonstrate safe behavior and follow management instruction., • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic Math skills needed. Basic Math assessment provided during interview process., • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, hand carts and pallet jacks., • Must have good oral, written and communication skills, including basic computer knowledge., • RF Scanning experience is a plus., • Regularly required to reach with hands and arms. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and moving throughout the course of the shift. Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch., • Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse which may require lifting, standing, and carrying.
