Job Description Qualifications • Previous experience as an automotive parts counterperson, • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories, • Excellent customer service skills, • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, • Attention to detail and accuracy, • Valid driver's license, • Submit to and successfully complete an MVR, background check, and pre-employment drug screen, • Have a High School Diploma or equivalent, • Are able to work in a fast-paced work environment, • Have strong organizational and time management skills, • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume, • Must have a valid unrestricted driver’s license (you must be insurable), • Must maintain a clean, acceptable, and safe driving record, • The associate must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus, • Maintain honesty and integrity while performing all job duties, • Always maintain a professional appearance, • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and codes of conduct, • Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish, • Communicate with customer on parts status, • Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner, • Be able to read and understand the parts catalog when looking up parts, • Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information, • Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate, • Provides high level service to internal and external customers, • Pulls and fills orders from stock, • Maintain daily bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock, • Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention, • Locates out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary, • Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order, • Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization, • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up, • Attend department meeting as needed, • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions, • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is frequently required to sit, often use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear, • The associate sometimes is required to stand and walk for long periods at a time, • Rotating weekends, • Ability to work directly with service advisorsCompany DescriptionWhat We Offer: • Competitive Compensation, • 401K With Company Match, • Vision / Dental / Health Insurance, • Bonus Incentives, • Paid Training, • Great CultureWhat We Offer:\r\n• Competitive Compensation\r\n• 401K With Company Match\r\n• Vision / Dental / Health Insurance\r\n• Bonus Incentives\r\n• Paid Training\r\n• Great Culture
