Job Title: Remote School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Remote (Must be licensed in Michigan) Employment Type: Full-Time 1099 Contract Reports To: Director of Special Education / Student Services Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and qualified Remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services to K12 students in Michigan. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, supporting their ability to succeed academically and socially. This is a fully remote position requiring licensure in the state of Michigan. Key Responsibilities: * Provide virtual speech-language therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs. * Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings using digital tools and teletherapy platforms. * Develop individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each students needs. * Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress. * Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations and service planning. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation, session notes, and progress reports. * Ensure pliance with IDEA, FERPA, and state education requirements. Qualifications: * Residency: Must reside in the U.S. * Licensure: * Valid Michigan SLP license issued by the Michigan Board of Speech-Language Pathology. * ASHA Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC-SLP) required. * Education: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. * Experience: * Minimum 1 year of experience in a school-based setting preferred. * Prior teletherapy experience is a plus but not required. Skills & petencies: * Proficiency in delivering services via teletherapy platforms (e.g., Zoom, TheraPlatform, etc.). * Strong munication, collaboration, and time-management skills. * Ability to adapt therapy techniques for a virtual learning environment. * Culturally responsive and sensitive to diverse student populations. Technology Requirements: * Reliable high-speed internet. * Secure, quiet home workspace. * puter with webcam and microphone. * Familiarity with digital therapy materials and documentation systems (training may be provided).
