Job DescriptionSalary: We are actively recruiting Project Superintendents with varying experience to join the Iowa Team Based in Des Moines, IA. The Project Superintendent is responsible for the profitable field operations on complex, large projects after demonstrating ability to successfully completing smaller projects. The Project Superintendent is also responsible to establish the safety culture on the jobsite and work closely with the Project Manger to manage schedule, budge and staff to achieve profitable outcomes. This individual should also create and maintain effective client, vendor, supplier, and subcontractor relationships. This position typically reports to the most senior Project Manager on the job. Candidate must also have time management and project organizational skills to be successful in this role., • Education: A high school diploma is required. Industry-related college degree is preferred., • Technology: Candidate should have experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Apple products (iPhone & iPad), and have experience with or ability to learn specific software. Training will be provided on company standards. Job DescriptionSalary: EPI Power, LLC (EPI) is a licensed electrical contractor and subsidiary of The Weitz Company that specializes in data centers. This role will work onsite at our prefabrication shop in Des Moines, IA Monday Friday, 7:00am 5:30pm. Saturday hours may be required based on the needs of the business. This position works primarily within a prefabrication facility, with regular time spent on the shop floor and periodic visits to construction project sites. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role. What Youll Do: • Lead prefab kickoff meetings and define project-specific prefabrication scope of work, • Develop and maintain prefab production schedules aligned with project installation milestones, • Coordinate detailing priorities and confirm drawing packages are complete prior to production release, • Review construction documents and drawings to ensure constructability and alignment with real-world field means and method, • Sequence prefab assemblies based on installation-driven requirements, • Translate required quantities into production duration based on established shop capacity, • Monitor prefab labor hours against estimated budgets and identify variances, • Coordinate prefab-related change requests and pricing, within delegated authority, • Facilitate regular prefab coordination meetings between field project teams and shop leadership, • Ensure material requirements are identified and aligned with production schedules, • Validate assemblies are complete and installation-ready prior to shipment, • Spend regular time on the shop floor reviewing assemblies and working directly with production teams, • Visit project sites as needed to confirm constructability and gather field feedback, • Identify schedule, detailing, or material risks impacting production and escalate appropriately, • Collaborate with Shop Superintendents to align weekly production priorities, • Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For: • Experience:, • Equivalent field experience and demonstrated competency will be considered in place of formal education, • Minimum three (3) years of field construction experience required. Experience as a Foreman, Lead Installer, Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar role preferred, • This position requires practical field experience, • Prefabrication or manufacturing exposure is desirable but not required, • Skills:, • Strong practical understanding of construction means and methods, • Field credibility and ability to communicate effectively with craft labor, • Comfortable working in a production environment not solely in an office setting, • Detail-oriented and organized, • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting schedules, • Willingness to be hands-on when needed to resolve issues, • Strong problem-solving ability grounded in real-world installation experience, • Desire to grow into greater leadership responsibility, • Technology:, • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings is required.
