Job DescriptionJob Title: Skilled Construction WorkerJob Description We are seeking a skilled construction worker to assist in constructing a Hot Aisle Containment (HAC) system at a data center in Altoona, IA. This project involves assembling pre-fabricated steel components, requiring the system to be anchored into concrete. The work is anticipated to be completed by mid-April, with tasks performed using a scissor lift and forklift. Responsibilities • Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction project sites., • Review jobsite requirements with superintendents to fully understand the scopes of work per plans and specifications., • Assist with jobsite clean-up, rough carpentry, site logistics, fencing, and building of decks and platforms., • Follow blueprints and ensure proper assembly of pre-fabricated systems., • Ensure compliance with safety codes, regulations, and company standards by all trade employees, subcontractors, and vendors., • Understand work instructions and safety protocols, ensuring the safe and proper use of tools and equipment., • Participate in daily Pre-Task Plans and adhere to safety protocols, wearing appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).Essential Skills, • Minimum of 6 months construction experience., • Proficiency in using a tape measurer and both hand and power tools., • Mechanically inclined with an understanding of material assembly.Additional Skills & Qualifications, • Ability to follow blueprints and understand project signage.
