Job Description Job Summary: Must be able to work 5 days a week including weekends, 8 loads per week. Average loads takes 5 hours per day roundtrip , all local work. Serving Trader Joe’s in the DMV. Must be able to back up into tight spots. Pay is $40 to $50hr paid every Saturday. $1300 to $2000 a week possibility of making more. Form 1099 issued for wages earned. You must have a clean driving record with at least 2 years recent experience as a class A truck driver. You will be responsible for safely transporting to various locations. Duties: • Operate trucks equipped for various types of freight including refrigerated trailers., • Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery while considering traffic patterns and road conditions., • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations., • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo details., • Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues encountered during transport., • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record., • Experience in route driving with a strong understanding of freight handling., • Familiarity with operating different types of trucks including refrigerated trailers., • Ability to load and unload cargo safely using forklifts or manual methods., • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards., • Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
