As a Parts Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of parts to professional customers. Keep the company vehicle in excellent condition., • Exhibit a willingness to work overtime to get the job done Essential Job Functions: • Drive a company vehicle to deliver parts and products to customers and pick up customer returns. Route typically includes 10-15 stops per day. Up to 250 miles roundtrip., • Complete tasks through various applications (Whip Around, Part Car Relocate, Picture app, Skype, and Concur), • Maintain a positive attitude and provide excellent customer service, • Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations, • Report vehicle maintenance needs through Whip Around app, • Drive safely and defensively, adhering to all company safety standards, • Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors., • Check with the parts manager, wholesale representative, inventory control administrator, parts counter representative or shipping and receiving clerk before leaving to coordinate any last-minute pick-ups or deliveries., • Deliver parts to the warehouse when needed for distribution to the appropriate technicians, • Verify that invoice matches purchase order for each pick-up, • Check payments received with the invoices for each delivery, • Turn in all COD ‘s from route into security box., • Handle basic maintenance of the vehicle including filling the tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean and making sure required inspections are performed., • Perform related duties as assigned, • High school diploma or GED and/or at least one (1) year delivery driving experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience., • Familiarity with automotive parts, • Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service, • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences and perform basic math, • Excellent decision making skills and ability to self-direct, • Good interpersonal communication skills, • Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations, • Ability to sit for long periods of time, • Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift heavy objects, as well as the ability to load and unload them from vehicle, • Ability to lift/load/unload up to 75 lbs.
