Job Description Overview We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Quality Supervisor with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and electronic assemblies. This role is suited for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to protecting product integrity through disciplined inspection, structured problem-solving, and effective team leadership. Role Summary The Quality Supervisor oversees daily Quality operations to ensure accurate execution of inspections, nonconformance management, and incident resolution. This role maintains product quality, regulatory compliance, and process control while supporting the Quality Manager’s strategic objectives through tactical execution and team coordination. This position functions as a working supervisor, performing inspections alongside the team while guiding quality system execution, documentation accuracy, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Operational Execution & Inspection Control • Serve as a working supervisor performing incoming, in-process, final, and First Article inspections, • Prioritize inspection workload based on production schedule, customer urgency, and risk level, • Verify product compliance with drawings, BOMs, specifications, and customer requirements, • Interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), • Ensure adherence to inspection procedures and quality protocols, • Ensure proper use, calibration awareness, and care of measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height, • gauges, multimeters, etc.), • Oversee quality-related ERP transactions and material movement associated with inspections, NCRs, and, • RMAs, ensuring accurate traceability and proper material status between Quality, Warehouse, and, • Manage NCR processes, containment actions, and defect tracking, • Lead segregation and control of nonconforming materials, • Initiate material holds when quality risks are identified, • Support material review and disposition decisions, • Perform structured root cause analysis (5-Whys, Fishbone, 8D support), • Support CAR/SCAR investigations and corrective action implementation, • Resolve routine quality issues and escalate systemic or high-risk concerns Supplier & Product Support Collaborate with Engineering and Procurement to resolve product quality concerns Quality System & Compliance Maintain inspection records and ensure documentation accuracy Prepare records and evidence for audits and compliance reviews Serve as floor-level quality representative during customer or regulatory visits Support ISO 9001 compliance and audit readiness Assist in updating SOPs, work instructions, and quality documentation Support calibration tracking and coordination of inspection equipment Communication & Collaboration • Act as liaison between Quality, Production, Engineering, Warehouse, and Operations, • Communicate quality risks, trends, and escalations to leadership, • Promote a culture of accountability and process discipline on the shop floor, • Oversee quality-related ERP transactions and material movement associated with inspections, NCRs, and RMAs, ensuring accurate traceability and proper material status between Quality, Warehouse, and, • Generate operational quality reports, • Monitor KPIs such as defect rates, rework, scrap, and first-pass yield, • Analyze trends and support improvement initiatives, • Bachelor’s degree in quality, engineering, operations, or equivalent experience, • Minimum 3 years in manufacturing quality assurance, • Supervisory or team lead experience preferred, • Strong familiarity with electronic assemblies and manufacturing components, • Hands-on experience with FAIs, inspections, rework evaluation, and NCR processes, • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications, • Working knowledge of GD&T principles, • Proficiency with inspection and test equipment, • Understanding of corrective action and root cause methodologies, • Strong documentation discipline and reporting capability, • Bilingual, English and Spanish required Company DescriptionRon's Staffing Services, Inc. is the leader in providing industrial temporary help.
