Aurora offers proximity to Denver, a vibrant healthcare community, and breathtaking Rocky Mountain views—making it a top destination for travel nursing jobs in Colorado. • Location: Aurora, CO 80045 (Denver Metro Area), • Estimated Weekly Pay: $2020-$2070, • Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract, • Unit: Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) / Oncology / Progressive Care Unit, • Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/15/2025 – End: 3/16/2026), • Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Days: 07:00–19:00, Nights: 19:00–07:00), 3 shifts/week, • Hours per Week: 36, • Weekend Requirement: Yes, per unit needs, • Charting System: Epic EMR, • Patient Ratio: 3-4:1, • Unit Size: 36 beds (expanding to 51 beds), • Scrub Color: Navy, • Active Colorado or Compact State RN License (Registered Nurse), • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in BMT, hematology, oncology, or progressive care, • American Heart Association BLS certification, • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification required, • Experience with Epic charting system, • Prior travel nursing experience required, • Ability to float within scope to similar units as needed, • First-time travelers accepted with required experience, • Deliver high-quality patient care to oncology and BMT patients undergoing chemotherapy, biotherapies, stem cell transplants, and CAR-T therapies, • Administer blood products, chemotherapy, and manage central/implanted lines, • Monitor for and manage complications such as tumor lysis syndrome, sepsis, graft-versus-host disease, and extravasation injuries, • Implement neutropenic precautions and manage side effects (nausea, vomiting, neuropathy), • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care, • Recognize and communicate abnormal lab values and changes in patient status, • Provide patient and family education regarding oncology treatments and care plans Experience the best of Colorado nursing jobs while making a difference in the lives of oncology patients.
