Job Description Sheet Metal Mechanic Installer – Commercial HVAC DFW Area $22–$28/hr | Full-Time | Overtime Available Posted: March 21, 2025 We are hiring a Sheet Metal Mechanic Installer to support commercial construction projects across the DFW area. This role is ideal for a hands-on installer who understands ductwork, reads blueprints confidently, and takes pride in clean, accurate work. What You’ll Do • Install and assemble commercial sheet metal systems, including ductwork and vents, • Measure, cut, bend, and fabricate sheet metal using hand and power tools, • Read and install from blueprints and job specifications, • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair existing sheet metal systems as needed, • Follow OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean, organized jobsite, • Coordinate with foremen, project managers, and other trades What We’re Looking For • Proven sheet metal experience (commercial or industrial preferred), • Strong blueprint reading and layout skills, • Proficient with standard sheet metal tools and equipment, • OSHA 10 preferred, • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights or in confined spaces, • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented What We Offer • Competitive pay: $22–$28/hr, • Health, dental, and vision insurance, • Overtime and steady work, • In-house training and career advancement opportunities Schedule • Monday–Friday, • 8- or 12-hour shifts, • Weekends as needed Location • Dallas–Fort Worth, TX, • In-person work, • Must be able to commute or relocate prior to start Apply Now Company DescriptionAt KODIAK, we are dedicated to helping craft professionals build successful and rewarding careers in the construction industry.
