Job Description The Mendoza College of Business is seeking an enthusiastic, relationship-driven Associate Director of Admissions (MBA) to join our Graduate Admissions team. Reporting to the Associate Director of Admissions, MBA, this role is instrumental in attracting, evaluating, and enrolling talented students across our portfolio of graduate business programs. You will serve as a key ambassador for the Notre Dame experience—engaging prospective students, collaborating with campus partners, and shaping incoming classes that reflect our mission and values. Responsibilities: Recruit and Engage Prospective Students You will play a front-facing role in building awareness and guiding candidates throughout their journey from inquiry to enrollment. Responsibilities include: • Conducting proactive outreach via phone and email., • Representing Mendoza at 50–75 recruitment events annually (virtual, on-campus, and travel-based)., • Engaging current students and alumni to support recruitment initiatives., • Hosting and participating in program presentations, information sessions, signature events, and yield activities., • Reviewing applications across the MBA and other graduate business programs., • Assessing academic records, test scores, professional experience, writing samples, and interview performance., • Using sound professional judgment to recommend admission and fellowship decisions to senior leadership., • Partnering with Student Services and Career Services on communications and Orientation support., • Creating and analyzing weekly enrollment and cohort profile reports., • Assisting with travel schedules, logistics, outreach, and event preparation., • Managing partnerships that strengthen our national and global presence., • Develop compelling email marketing content and campaigns., • Enhance engagement among prospective students and drive application activity., • A motivating, energetic presence and the ability to build rapport quickly., • An outgoing, open, and professional communication style., • Strong capacity to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, alumni, and prospective candidates., • Adaptability, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment., • A passion for supporting student success and representing the values of the University of Notre Dame.Qualifications, • Education: Bachelor’s degree, • Experience: 5 to 6 years of relevant experience (specifically in higher education), • Skills: Ability to create and deliver compelling presentations, public speaking, building rapport and establishing trust quickly, analyze data and glean insights, proactive and persistent in approach.
