The Center plays an important role in supporting student development, fostering a culture of well‑being, and contributing to IE University's broader mission of developing responsible, human‑centered leaders capable of creating positive impact. /p h3Position Overview /h3 pReporting to the Academic Director, the Associate Director of Marketing Communications will lead the Center's marketing, communications, and positioning strategy to strengthen visibility, engagement, and impact. This role combines strategic marketing, brand development, stakeholder engagement, communications, people leadership, and performance measurement to support the Center's growth and influence within IE and globally. /p pThe Associate Director will work closely with the Student Education Experience vertical, IE Marketing and Communications, as well as other key stakeholders across the university to ensure alignment of messaging, campaigns, engagement strategies, and institutional priorities. The role requires a holistic perspective on the student and community experience, positioning the Center's initiatives within the broader IE ecosystem to maximize impact, strengthen collaboration, and create a cohesive experience across students, faculty, staff, alumni, and partners. leadership across internal and external audiences, specifically elevating IE’s relevance in human capacity education and experience. /li liEnsure the Center's marketing and communications efforts support broader student engagement, community-building, and institutional objectives. /li liIdentify opportunities to expand reach, engagement, partnerships, and strategic influence. /li liTranslate academic, research, and well‑being content into compelling, accessible, and impactful communications. /li liIdentify opportunities to integrate the Center's initiatives into wider institutional campaigns, experiences, and strategic initiatives. /li /ul h3Marketing, Communications Engagement /h3 ul liLead marketing campaigns and communication initiatives that increase awareness, participation, and impact. /li liOversee content development across websites, digital channels, newsletters, social media, reports, presentations, events, and promotional materials. /li liCollaborate closely with IE Marketing Communications teams to maximize visibility, consistency, and institutional alignment. /li liCoordinate with Student Education Experience and other key departments to ensure a coherent and integrated approach to student-facing communications and engagement. /li liDevelop communication plans that contribute to a seamless experience across the student, faculty, staff, alumni, and partner journey. /li liSupport the promotion of academic programs, events, research initiatives, partnerships, and community activities. /li /ul h3Stakeholder Community Development /h3 ul liBuild and maintain strong relationships across IE and with external stakeholders to strengthen collaboration, participation, and engagement. /li liFoster greater integration of the Center across schools, departments, centers, student-facing units, alumni relations, and corporate partners. /li liServe as a connector across the IE ecosystem, identifying opportunities for collaboration, amplification, and shared value creation. /li liSupport cross-functional initiatives that strengthen community engagement, belonging, well‑being, and student success. /li liRepresent and advocate for the Center's mission and initiatives both internally and externally. /li /ul h3Operations Project Management /h3 ul liDevelop systems, processes, and frameworks that improve coordination, efficiency, scalability, and execution. /li liManage communication calendars, campaigns, projects, vendors, agencies, and external partners. /li liSupport budget planning, monitoring, and resource management related to marketing and communications activities. /li liEstablish workflows and governance mechanisms that facilitate collaboration across stakeholders and reduce duplication of effort. /li /ul h3People Leadership /h3 ul liLead, coach, and develop marketing and communications team members, interns, and contributors. /li liFoster a high-performing, collaborative, and well‑being-centered team strategic decision-making. /li liMeasure the effectiveness of campaigns, initiatives, and stakeholder engagement efforts. /li liUse data, insights, and stakeholder feedback to continuously improve performance and maximize impact. /li /ul h3To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications /h3 h3Education Experience /h3 ul liMaster's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, Strategic Communications, or a related field. /li li4-6 years of relevant experience in marketing, communications, brand management, stakeholder engagement, community building, or related areas. /li liExperience developing strategic marketing and communication plans and managing complex, cross-functional projects. /li liExperience within higher education, foundations, research institutions, social impact organizations, or purpose-driven environments is highly desirable. /li /ul h3Skills /h3 ul liStrategic thinking with strong execution capabilities. /li liExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Spanish is highly desirable. /li liStrong stakeholder management, relationship‑building, and influencing skills. /li liAbility to
