Growth Marketing Manager B2B/B2G – Education & Public Sector focus This is a pipeline-first marketing role focused on generating qualified B2B and B2G opportunities across the education and public sector landscape. Your core objective is to build and convert a high-quality pipeline of schools, multi-academy trusts (MATs), and local authorities into contracted partners. Every campaign, channel, and piece of content you deliver will be measured by its contribution to revenue, pipeline growth, and measurable impact. You will take full ownership of a multi-channel marketing function, executing across outbound, inbound, and account-based strategies. Working closely with commercial leadership, you’ll translate strategic priorities into targeted campaigns, lead generation systems, and sales enablement assets that directly support deal conversion. This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role, ideal for someone who can operate at pace, leverage AI tools, and deliver the output of a full marketing team. Key Responsibilities B2B/B2G Pipeline Generation • Build and execute account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns targeting schools, MATs, local authorities, SEND commissioners, and alternative provision leaders, • Develop and maintain a target account database, including procurement cycles, renewal timelines, and key decision-makers, • Design and run outbound lead generation engines (LinkedIn + personalised email sequences), • Own pipeline tracking from first touch to closed contract, including attribution and reporting, • Develop and scale referral and partner-driven lead channels Lead Nurture & Email Marketing • Build and optimise multi-stage email nurture funnels for B2B/B2G audiences, • Segment audiences (e.g. schools, LAs, commissioners) to improve engagement and conversion, • Manage automated re-engagement and lifecycle campaigns to maximise pipeline value LinkedIn & Social Selling • Use LinkedIn as a primary B2B/B2G acquisition channel, • Execute social selling strategies targeting senior decision-makers in education and local government, • Support thought leadership content to build credibility and trust in complex buying cycles Content & SEO (Sales Enablement) • Create high-impact content tailored to education and public sector buyers (case studies, reports, insights), • Develop SEO-driven content targeting high-intent B2B/B2G search terms, • Produce assets that support procurement, evaluation, and decision-making processes Paid Acquisition & Demand Capture • Manage paid channels (e.g. Google Ads) to capture high-intent inbound demand, • Optimise performance based on cost-per-lead, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution Events & Sector Engagement • Support education sector events and conferences with clear lead generation and follow-up strategies, • Build visibility and credibility through awards, partnerships, and industry presence AI-Driven Marketing Execution • Leverage AI tools to accelerate content production, campaign execution, and data analysis, • Build scalable workflows that increase speed, personalisation, and efficiency across channels About You Essential Experience • 2+ years in B2B or B2G marketing, with a clear track record of building and converting pipeline, • Experience in marketing into the public sector and/or education markets (schools, MATs, local authorities, or similar), • Proven ability to execute lead generation strategies targeting complex, multi-stakeholder buyers, • Hands-on experience with:, • Email marketing and nurture campaigns, • LinkedIn for lead generation and social selling, • SEO, content marketing, and/or paid acquisition, • Commercial mindset: able to connect marketing activity directly to pipeline and revenue outcomes, • Comfortable working autonomously and building marketing systems from the ground up Why Join • Opportunity to build and own a full B2B/B2G marketing function, • Direct impact on pipeline growth, revenue, and real-world outcomes, • High-autonomy role with scope to shape strategy and execution, • AI-forward environment focused on speed and innovation, • Flexible, hybrid working Contact Joel Fletcher at Luminate Talent -
