We’re looking for a Finance Manager to join our dynamic Group Finance team. In this highly visible role, you will play a crucial part in delivering financial reporting and communications to senior management, the Board, and our valued stakeholders. \n As the successful candidate, you will blend your strong technical accounting and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly. You’ll support and develop the Group's reporting cycle while contributing to a variety of strategic, reporting, and governance-related activities. Your Key Responsibilities\n In this role, you will: \n\n • Transform complex financial and business information into clear, engaging reports and presentations for senior leaders and stakeholders.\n, • Prepare and coordinate Board, committee, and senior management papers, along with supporting analysis.\n, • Support reporting and communications to shareholders and the wider Bailey family.\n, • Prepare monthly consolidated management accounts and associated reporting.\n, • Analyze Group financial performance, including commentary and risk/opportunity analysis.\n, • Assist in the Group forecasting and budgeting process.\n, • Coordinate and manage the year-end audit process, including liaising with divisional finance teams and external auditors.\n, • Prepare and review audit deliverables and supporting documentation.\n, • Support the preparation of Group statutory accounts and technical accounting papers.\n, • Work with stakeholders to enhance the quality, consistency, and efficiency of reporting.\n, • Identify and implement practical process and reporting improvements.\nWhat We’re Looking For\n The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with experience in practice or industry. You should demonstrate: \n\n • Experience preparing reports and presentations for senior or non-specialist audiences.\n, • Familiarity with Group reporting, consolidations, or multi-entity environments (advantageous).\n, • The ability to translate complex financial information into clear messages.\n, • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\n, • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.\n, • A keen attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work.\n, • Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders.\n, • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.\n, • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet challenging deadlines.\n\n This role is perfect for someone making their first move from practice into industry, especially those with backgrounds in Audit, Financial Reporting, Transaction Services, Corporate Finance, or Technical Accounting.
